Promoting and Protecting Women and Girls during Covid-19 crisis

The goal of the project is to promote the elimination and prevention of violence against women and girls in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, namely, that women and girls in Tbilisi region feel better protected from violence in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
To achieve this goal, the project uses a multidimensional approach to the problem of violence against women and girls.
• Primarily, the project responds to the increased risks of domestic violence and violence against women and girls and aims to address their needs in individual assistance and support. For this purpose, the project will promote the availability of psycho-social support services (individual and group) - providing them with psycho-social rehabilitation, as well as their empowerment through skills training and acquisition of new knowledge.

Secondly project aims at raising awareness and DV/VW prevention activities among the representatives of the target groups of the project - adults and adolescents. Also for the general audience/public.
• Thirdly project envisages advocating the issue of introducing supervision/supervision practices in institutions providing services to women and domestic violence victims/victims in order to increase the quality and effectiveness of said services.
Promotion of women's empowerment and gender equality

Project aims to promote gender equality and tackle gender-based violence (GBV) through women /girls' empowerment and dealing with gender stereotypes/ social norms that underlie inequality and violence.
The goal of the project is to take into account the needs of women in vulnerable situations
